Failed to Verify Information

Identify the Issue

If you are trying to send a transaction and you get an error about "Failed to Verify Information" for one of your signers, then you will need to go back to the signer information and check it for errors.

If all signer info is typed correctly, then it's possible that the form of authentication you have used was able to completely verify their identity. The system does a quick check before sending out the transaction, to make sure the signer has enough info with our third party vendor who checks identity. Most people have enough data to match against with our vendor, but some do not.

Reasons someone might not be able to pass strict authentication and might fail:

  • They are young and do not have enough info yet
  • They have recently changed their name and do not yet have enough info connected to their new name
  • They go by a different name or nickname (William vs. Will vs. Bill, etc.) and there is not enough info connected to the name they're using

You may need to give this signer a different, less strict form of authentication.
